How the Hydrosphere is Affected by the Tornado
The hydrosphere was affected by having deadly liquids, debris and materials blown into lakes and rivers as well as surrouding area.
How the Tornado Affects the Geosphere
Tornadoes rip trees out of the ground and kill them. This contributes to global warming because trees take in carbon dioxide and gives out ox ygen .
How the Tornado Affects the Biosphere
The biosphere was affected by having lots of trees and other plants destroyed or severly damaged.
What Caused the Tornado?
The tornado was caused by the atmosphere. When a cold front meets warm air, it creates a horizontal spinning effect in the lower atmosphere. This vortex is then pulled up by the cooler air in the higher atmosphere, searching for moisture. Next, it picks up speed and power as it joins the cloud of a thunderstorm, creating a tornado. Tornadoes are probably one of the most damaging and dangerous natural disasters.
The tornado caused dirt and debris from the damaged and collapsed buildings to circulate in the environment, creating pollution.
How the Tornado Affected the Anthrosphere
June 6, 2010
Hey guys, I've got some bad news. This morning at around 2:20 I was awakened by a tornado which came through Dundee, a rural town where I live it's about 40 miles from Detroit. Tornadoes swept through Michigan and Ohio last night, leaving a path of destruction and damages costing millions of dollars. I saw on the news that at least 5 people have died. The tornado came VERY close to a few of my friend's houses and they told me it was a horrific, scary experience. Some said it sounded like a train. I'm so thankful that none of my friends or family members have been hurt or killed but, of course, I feel horrible for those who have been. Numerous homes have been destroyed. Due to the state of emergency our town is in, my graduation has been re-scheduled :'(.
